Please Note:

 

 Brokered Alpacas:  Some alpacas listed for sale are brokered for other breeders and are not part of Champion Alpacas herd.  Guarantees and rebreeds are the responsibility of the owner of the brokered alpaca.  Champion Alpacas is acting solely as a broker to facilitate the sale between Buyer & Seller.  In the case of Champion Alpacas offering a rebreed option for the Seller the list of available herdsires is limited to ones that are agreed upon by Champion Alpacas and does not include herdsires that have limited outside breedings.

 

Breedings:  It is our policy that all dam owners who are bringing their females for breeding need to have their female(s) vet checked, BVD tested, wormed, behavior tested, have a clear fecal sample (including E-Mac) and be at a healthy weight prior to arrival for breeding.  Any previous breeding issues or weight issues need to be brought to our attention, they must be free of any vaginal/uterine infections and maidens need to have their hymen checked by the vet prior to arrival for breeding.  Medical and breeding history along with ARI certificate must accompany the female when they are delivered for breeding.

 

Maiden females must be of the appropriate weight and size, hymens opened and behavior tested prior to arrival for breeding.

 

Breeder Identifiers:  Alpacas that were owned and bred by Champion Alpacas prior to purchase will have the "Champion's" identifier in front of the chosen name when registered.  Breeding decisions made by the breeder who has purchased an open/unbred female or purchased a breeding are able to use their personal breeder identifier.
